Sermo is a player that I saw last year and was impressed with. Looks like he’s back at it. Sermo had 14 points last night and buried a game winner against Jalen Rose Leadership Academy. Sermo is a talented floor general that can make plays off the bounce with a drive and dish.

Sermo is definitely an underclassman to keep an eye on. He handles the ball well and can be trusted as a primary ball handler. Sermo can play well in a pick and roll offense and he moves the ball intelligently and quickly along the perimeter. He showed the ability to drive, touch the paint and dish off an assist or score with a slick finish. Sermo’s highlight may have been when he stepped in and took a charge early in the game.
