Diaz is a skilled guard who plays with a smooth pace and keeps the game under control. He does a great job finding teammates, consistently making the right reads and setting others up for quality looks. As a scorer, he can heat up from outside in a hurry and punish defenses when they go under screens or lose him in space. He’s comfortable creating off the bounce and making plays without forcing the action. His feel and confidence continue to show up more each time out, making him a steady presence in the backcourt. Diaz is definitely a player to keep an eye on as his impact and production keep trending up.

His game keeps improving every time I see him. He adds a little something. Really good spot up shooter. Has his feet and hands set on the catch to rise up and drain jumpers. Nice mid range game as well. Rebounds really well off the wing spot.
