Douglas is a quick, scoring, strong, left handed lead guard. He is a three level scorer who can create offense off the dribble. He has a good feel for the game and is a very good defender both and off the ball. Douglas is one of the top two-way prospects in the 2029 recruiting class.

Dorian plays with pure heart, picking up full court and competing relentlessly every minute he’s on the floor. He uses a quick first step to consistently get downhill and create paint touches, finishing comfortably with either hand around the rim. As a playmaker, he stands out with elite vision and feel, making him one of the better passers in the state and a consistent creator for others.

Douglas earned All-Region and All-Defensive Team honors for Dacula this season after producing as a consistent double-digit scorer. A lightning-quick guard, he excels at getting downhill and into the paint, where he can finish effectively with either hand. He is also a capable perimeter shot maker who can stretch the defense when given space. On the defensive end, Douglas is active and disruptive, using his quickness and energy to pressure the ball and create problems for opposing guards.

Douglas plays the game low, on-time, and with a level of poise rarely seen from a freshman. He keeps the ball moving, sets the table for others, and knocks down open shots without hunting offense. A steadying presence who travels well from game to game, Douglas may be listed at just 5-foot-9, but aside from his height, nothing about his game reads “young.” He’s physically strong and well-built, allowing him to negate vertical disadvantages. The lefty guard shows advanced maturity with the ball—calm, composed, and decisive when choosing whether to attack or facilitate. Douglas can score 20 on any given night, yet he’s equally impactful as a creator thanks to his court vision and understanding of spacing. He relocates instinctively after the pass, sliding into windows for drive-and-kick opportunities or safety-valve jumpers. Good things consistently happen when the ball is in his hands.
