Mukes brings toughness and reliability to a Moeller squad that went through some serious ups and downs with a young roster. A great 3-and-D wing guard option, Mukes shoots it at a high level off the catch and loves to defend the best player on the opposing team. A college ready body and coming from a Moeller system that gets players prepared for the next level, Mukes checks a lot of boxes that small college coaches are looking for in a freshman that can play right away. Mukes will look to lead Moeller to a district title this Saturday as they take on Cincinnati Princeton at UD Arena.

Mukes is the second leading scorer for Moeller this season, scoring 8.2 PPG on 45% from the field. A capable outside shooter, Mukes has connected on 24 3-pointers this season. I like what Mukes brings defensively as well with his good athleticism and college ready frame. A connector piece for a small college program, I think Mukes can make an impact at pretty much every regional Division III program and could even get scholarship looks as well.

Mukes played a solid role as a Junior for perennial powerhouse Archbishop Moeller but looked more confident and aggressive offensively in highlights against Reynoldsburg in a foundation preseason game on Saturday. Moeller is dealing with some injuries and transfers so Mukes will have more weight on his shoulders and I expect him to really show what he can do this winter.
