I love the energy Sheppard played with, having one of the highest motors of any player I saw all weekend. His effort going after loose balls and rebounds got his team extra possessions and he also finished second chance opportunities and rolls to the basket after setting screens. Really enjoyed just watching Sheppard compete on Sunday.

Sheppard is someone who passes the eye test. He is listed at 6’3 and is built like a house. He is a strong and physical guard who is a mismatch for a lot of guards at the high school level. He gets to his spot and is not stopped. He plays bully ball on both ends of the floor. He can get to the rim and finish well. He then is a threat from deep. He was left open a couple of times and made Teays Valley pay. I like what Sheppard brings on the floor.

I saw Sheppard play this morning at 8 am and my first note of him was his energy and passion. He is a very competitive player that just wants to win. He is a raw player with nice talent and athleticism. He is very strong and finishes the ball just that way as well. He is aggressive and makes quick moves. He also showed some nice IQ on the defensive end.
