Yes this event was titled the Freshmen Showcase, but Dominic, an 8th grader repping the class of 2031 stood out and made his claim to be one of the top 8th graders in the state, and possibly the country. He jumped out early in the 3 on 3 session with his physical approach and competitive fire. He is well composed and has advanced strength and body control for his age. During the 5 on 5 session he took his game to another level. During one span he went on an 8-0 run by himself. What was really impressive was his ability to live in the paint and convert lay ins while drawing contact. He easily had 20+ points in the contest.
