Goines is leading his Franklin squad to a lightning fast start. They are 10-2 and traveling to John Glenn who is currently 4-4. Goines has proven that he’s a college level player. He’s always been able to shoot, but has become much more athletic and one of the best perimeter help defenders around. Goines is just a great all around player.

Goines had an impressive summer playing a tough national schedule with the Midwest Stampede. He improved his all around athleticism and continued his growth as a tough perimeter defender. Livonia Franklin and Goines take on Annapolis at home tonight. Goines is getting next level looks and coaches should probably jump in while they can.

I’m just going to throw this out there. I’m VERY familar with Goines and his game and this is a young man that can play at the next level. In another lifetime, defense was his weakness. Now he’s 1 of the top perimeter help defenders around. Goines can run the fake and fade like a pro. And he was doing it and doing it well at The Expo.

Dominic has a good three-point look, quick but not rushed, able to get his shot off before the contest arrives. On the other end, Goines is proficient at keeping the ball in front of him.

Is it possible to get more athletic in a month? If it is, Goines did it. He was throwing down dunk after dunk after dunk when finishing at the rim. That athleticism showed when working to touch paint on the offensive end. Goines looked quick and confident on D.
