Silva is a player who exploded onto the scene during his upperclassmen tenure. He is a tall and long point guard with elite playmaking and vision. He is a point guard you want because of his ability to distribute the ball to his teammates. He has a high IQ, and the ball never sticks with him. He is always willing to pass it ahead and play selflessly. Now, when you start to fall asleep on his scoring ability, that is when he exposes you. He is a nice offensive player and makes it look easy. Great at getting to the rim and touching around the rim.  

I was very excited to see Silva at the Prep Hoops Ohio State Tournament as he helped Ohio Buckets Black make it to the championship game of the tournament. A shot-maker from the wing, Silva averaged 16 PPG and shot 36% from 3-point range for a team that won 22 games last season. Silva also averaged 2 steals per game, showing his ability to impact the game defensively. I expect Silva to get quality small college interest over the next couple of months.

Ohio Buckets Black had an impressive Saturday tournament run as they rolled into the semifinals thanks to a balanced scoring effort. Silva was one of those leaders as his off-ball movement really stood out as he got behind the defense in transition and made smart cuts in the half-court to get easy shots. With the ability to space the floor and finish at the rim with size from the wing, Silva checks a lot of boxes small college programs look for and most importantly plays hard on both ends of the floor.

I am familiar with a lot of Ohio Buckets Black group but Silva is a player I need to get another evaluation on, will be a priority team to take notice of this weekend with numerous small college targets.
