The Hicks shoulder to separate and finish was something that VWBA Elite 16s (playing 17s) opponents will be seeing their sleep. Hicks is a strong and not only does he have the ability to dribble separate, he then gets the leverage edge and then finalizes the deal with the shoulder bump. And once you are off balance, Hicks lifts into the finish over and over again. Sometimes defenders were able to stay close but they were still beat and Hicks was scoring from the foul line. A constant paint finisher.
DeAnthony found ways to score on cuts, on a few second chances, and overall his team won four games in pool B playing up a grade.
