I thought it was a really good day for Drinkard, who can establish himself with his outside shot and then use the gravity he demands from there on out to highlight the other areas of his game. It started with the 3v3 sessions where he made defenders pay for late closeouts or having their hands down whenever he caught it beyond the arc. He has a quick load up and release, which then his defender to check him closely on future touches. Drinkard can then use his first step to blow by and was effective driving to either hand while making things happen. He finished contested layups with his left and had several assists by getting all the way to the rim, forcing 2-to-3 defenders to step up and zipping passes to weak side shooters.
