David showed promising qualities as a perimeter playmaker with his ability to initiate the offense, see the floor, and attack off the bounce. He is an aggressive slasher who looked to create advantages by getting downhill and putting pressure on the defense. Once he got penetration, he flashed the vision to recognize teammates and make plays instead of becoming solely focused on getting his own shot. That balance between creating for himself and others gives him intriguing potential with the ball in his hands. He showed that he can help organize the offense while also being an attacking threat when opportunities present themselves. Continuing to tighten his handle, develop his perimeter shot, and sharpen his decision-making against pressure will help him become an even more complete backcourt option.

Scott was impressive for the Atlanta All Stars 15u team on the UA Rise circuit. The lead guard is very difficult for defenders to keep out of the paint. He is an above average athlete who can finish with either hand around the rim. Scott is also a capable midrange shot maker, allowing him to keep defenders off balance. In addition to his offensive ability, Scott has all the physical characteristics to be a high level defender.
