I loved what I saw from Crim this summer as he looks like a prime breakout candidate in the GMC this winter. Air Force commit Kam Sanders moved to Georgia which opened the door for Crim to become the primary ball handler and creator for Fairfield. I was impressed with what I saw from him with Shining Star Price as well, having a huge Bill Hensley Run N Slam tournament. Kentucky Christian and Transylvania have already offered Crim, who should get more interest if he makes the jump I project him to make this winter.

Fairfield has a lot of guard talent last season, but with Kameron Sanders moving out of state, it opens the door for Crim to be the primary creator as a senior. Based on what he showed me in the month of May with Shining Star Price, he seems ready to take on that responsibility. With multiple big showings at the Bill Hensley Run N Slam, I’d imagine Crim got his name on a handful of small college recruiting boards. The duo of Crim and Cashawn Ingram will still be one of the top in the GMC if Crim continues to elevate his game.

Fairfield has a talented 2025 core and Crim is going to be a huge stock riser after what I saw this past weekend. Played well in both games I caught of Shining Star Price, Crim has a lot of talent on the ball with his ball handling, change of speeds and quickness. Able to get into the lane at will, Crim was breaking down the defense off the bounce. Knocking down drive scoop layups, jab steps going the other way and euro-step finishes, Crim was killing on Sunday. Also knocking down a couple 3-pointers off the bounce, Crim had a complete scoring performance. This weekend was the best I’ve seen Crim play in his career, it seems like he’s maybe flipped a switch in his game.

Fairfield has a deep 2025 class and I was impressed with what Crim showed me in the playoffs. Getting better each time I see him, Crim has good physical tools including length, which allowed him to force 1.3 turnovers a game. Second on his team in scoring, Crim plays well as a guard who can attack closeouts, score in transition and use his shiftiness on the ball. Crim also shot 34% on 93 3-point attempts this season, showing he’s a real threat from downtown. The one thing I want to see from Crim is improved decision making as a passer, Crim had 1.1 assists to 1.6 turnovers this season, if he can flip those numbers, he could move up our rankings.

Fairfield had no trouble taking down Harrison in a first round playoff battle as the 2025 class of Fairfield showed their potential even without Kam Sanders. Crim is a prospect who has had a strong season, second on the Indians in scoring and had a big game on Friday night. Crim has long arms and solid defensive instincts, causing some turnovers. A slippery driver of the basketball, Crim does a good job getting defenders off of him when he’s attacking off the bounce. In transition is where Crim can use his shiftiness and score easily at the rim. A capable shooter from the outside, Crim made a 3-pointer and also airballed another open one, if he can improve in that area of the game he could take a considerable leap as a senior.
