DJ Pope is a player to watch this year and beyond. He came out firing in this game. He found a spot where he was open, the corners, and attacked it. Pope hit a couple big triples early in the game that were definite momentum shifters.

Pope is a player that I’m anxious to see this season. Pope is a really talented all around athlete. He has the exciting combination of straight line speed and the ability to navigate quickly and smoothly in traffic. I could definitely see him making plays on his way to the rim, both in transition and in a half court set.
