Wright has been quite the two-way presence for JF Webb as he continues to be a prospect to know in the 2027 rankings. He’s averaging 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 5.3 steals as a top two-way guard in the state of North Carolina. His assists per game rank 16th in the NCHSAA while he ranks 28th overall in North Carolina, according to MaxPreps. He’s a do-it-all guard worth noting in the class heading into the grassroots season.

Wright is quite the lead guard prospect both from a vocal standpoint and a playmaking standpoint out of JF Webb High to keep eyes on in the 2027 class. He showcased his ability to defend on both ends of the floor while running the show for Team 11. He forced turnovers with ease and showed he could work off the bounce to make things happen in the paint. As he develops his shot more, look for his recruitment to rise in North Carolina as a DI/DII prospect.

Wright is a rising name to know in North Carolina. He showed he could run the show at the point guard spot while maintaining an ability to attack off the bounce as well. He did well to find others and keep them involved to make his presence felt. He’s a floor general with a bright future ahead of him in the 2027 class over at JF Webb High.

Wright has shown to be a key piece in the 15U ranks with Top Shot Basketball East as the grassroots season heats up. He’s a floor general with a ton of confidence handling the ball and making things happen as a playmaker and initiator for his squad. He He was a key cog in the JF Webb High rotation this past season, producing 10.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 3.8 APG and 2.7 SPG in his varsity debut. Look for his stock to grow this summer!
