About Dalton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am aggressive offensive threat while I take pride in defense as I shoot for certain totals each game of defense battles to win examples would be I need to have 3 blocks, 3 steals and at min. 7 rebounds

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very team oriented as I look to get my teammates involved as I have learned early on if I score over 30 points typically my team does not win. I look to have a balanced game with 10 to 15 points, but my assist should well exceed points any day of the week along with rebounds on the offensive side of the ball and I pride myself in this.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a sophomore in HS and I have received the following. 2024- 2 academic all-conference awards for 3.8 GPA 2024- Varsity letter in Football 2025- Varsity letter in Basketball and All Conference award for 3.8 GPA 2025-Varsity Letter in Track and All Conference award for 3.8 GPA

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned that staying calm under pressure is not easy, but it is a necessity. This has helped me through sports and in school. Life is difficult and you have to learn how to navigate through it when times get tough. Being a leader is not given to you, you have to earn it, and I take pride in outworking anyone in anything to take on the leadership role.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My freshman year in Basketball I did not get a Varsity letter in Basketball even though I knew I could beat out anyone on the Varsity Team. It lit a fire under my bottom, and I worked hard over the summer to not allow the coaching staff to put any upperclassman over me in the 2025 season and I wanted to help my team win a district championship that we had not done since 2011. What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to take some visit to understand the full scope, I am unclear on if I want to travel far away from home or stay close, but I want to further my education while still progressing in sports.
