Expert Analysis

The way Cullen plays reminds me a bit of Jack Campion a few years back. He’s so shifty and has a lightning quick first step with the ball in his hands. Though often the smallest guy on the floor, Cullen was absolutely fearless attacking the basket for Coulee United, and showed impressive body control to just hang in the air and finish in a number of ways. Had an impressive behind the back pass late in the game as well leading to an easy look at the rim. Cullen is one of those players who seems to have an endless supply of energy, and it showed in his effort on both ends of the floor.

Jacobus competes with tons of energy and is fast with the ball in the open court. He has a nice perimeter jump shot as he hit one triple and several mid-range shots in the contest with St. Ambrose. Defensively, Jacobus puts good pressure on the ball with his quickness and lateral movement, and he was able to force several turnovers during North Crawford’s come-from-behind victory. Jacobus finished the contest with 24 points and did a good job of getting to the foul line as he made seven-of-eight attempts from the stripe.
