Cruz Bonneau enters his freshman season with developed size and a strong basketball foundation. After watching him compete in Baton Rouge, it was clear that he possesses many of the tools needed to make the transition to high school basketball. At a legitimate 6-foot-2, Bonneau has the size to play either point guard or shooting guard, with a heavy emphasis on his shooting ability.

He is already a trusted perimeter shooter, giving him a valuable skill as he looks to establish his role. As his handle continues to improve, Bonneau’s offensive game should open up additional opportunities. Greater comfort creating off the dribble could make him more dangerous as both a scorer and playmaker. Keep an eye on Bonneau as he looks to earn varsity minutes as an underclassman.
