About Cooper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team-first player who plays with energy, toughness, and a high basketball IQ. I take pride in defending multiple positions, making the right play, and doing whatever my team needs to win. I compete hard on every possession and bring a consistent, unselfish approach to the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Cooper is a humble, hardworking competitor who leads by example. He is coachable, resilient, and team-first, with a calm demeanor and strong work ethic. He lets his effort and actions speak for themselves.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am attending the career tech program in the fire academy

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I take pride in being a team-first player who encourages those around me. I’ve grown into a leader by mentoring younger teammates and helping create a positive team culture. Off the court, I’m committed to serving my community through volunteer work, including involvement with my local YMCA and helping neighbors whenever I can.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

On April 19, 2025, I fractured my tibia and fibula during an AAU game that required surgery and rehabilitation. The experience taught me resilience, patience, and hard work. I was fully cleared to return by the end of July and have no lasting effects from the injury. Overcoming this challenge strengthened my mindset and game, and I returned with an even greater appreciation for the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that challenges me academically, allows me to compete at a high level in basketball, and provides a positive, team-first culture where I can continue to grow as both a player and a person.
