O’Rourke, who should be among the NHIAA’s top post prospects this winter, is an agile big man that does a good job of making an impact on both ends of the floor. A solid defender, O’Rourke continues to improve in all facets of the game. A skilled lefty that is able to space the floor, he does a great job of pursuing the basketball on the offensive glass. Not only does he have a nose for offensive rebounds, but he’s an efficient finisher off those chances. He’s a good vertical athlete that does a solid job of high pointing rebounds. He’s a versatile defender that can guard multiple positions and rebounds at a high clip on that end of the floor. When you combine his athleticism, long arms, and willingness to be physical, he has a high ceiling as a rebounder. Few bigs in the NHIAA will be able to match his combination of size and versatility and he has a chance to be a star this winter at Bedford.
