Cole Wells caught my eye in Grand Rapids a couple weeks ago. He wasn’t shot heavy or shot reliant, but he also seemed to know when his Jayhawk team needed a bucket and he was usually able to go get it. Wells could square up on the right wing and create a good look at the rim.

Wells is an unsigned 2026 that could be a nice addition to a college roster. He’s a very effective and disciplined player. Wells scored in a variety of ways. I saw him finish on a fancy reverse layup as well as bury a triple with a hand in his face. Wells was very active in transition, hitting the block on the right side of the rim and finishing.
