When attacking the basket, Evans is a violent, downhill driver. His first step is explosive, allowing him to blow past initial defenders on the perimeter. Once he enters the paint, his elite athleticism takes over and He routinely embraces contact mid-air, finishing through defenders with remarkable body control. His strong build allows him to hold his own against older competition. Colby is a high-IQ player who makes smart decisions and consistently puts his team first. He’s an unselfish playmaker, yet aggressive enough to take over when needed. As a true three-level scorer, he can finish at the rim, knock down mid-range jumpers, and hit from beyond the arc. Defensively, he brings a tough, no-nonsense attitude that sets the tone for his team. A coach’s dream, Colby is without question one of the top prospects in his class.
