Clay is a pure hooper that can score on multiple levels from anywhere on the court. He wasn’t the tallest at his position, but he has a nice sized frame that gave him a physical edge against most matchups at the Kentucky Freshman Showcase. His game isn’t flashy. Instead, it’s his pace that sets him apart. He easily had one of the smoothest jumpers in the building regardless of if he got it off in catch-and-shoot situations or off the dribble. That, paired with his comfortability with putting the ball on the floor and getting downhill makes for a scary prospect long term.
