CJ does a little bit of everything on the court, but his on-ball defense was the most impressive part of his game at the showcase. He was extremely difficult to beat off the dribble, as I hardly ever saw an opposing player drive by him. His defensive activity also led to multiple steals, and he never seemed to take a play off. On the offensive end, CJ was an effective playmaker who consistently found teammates cutting to the basket. He also showed the ability to score around the rim, converting multiple contested and crafty layups. CJ’s two-way impact made him one of the more well-rounded players at the showcase.
