About Christopher
Expert Analysis
Jay Frye | Prep Hoops Scout
Christopher Webb Jr played with restless two-way energy — hunting mismatches, recovering into help, and finishing through contact. Hustle showed in transition; playmaking mixed pace with vision. Shotmaking flashed on catch-and-shoot and short pull-ups. Motor made him a separator at 6’2″.
✅ Restless two-way mismatch hunting
✅ Help recoveries and contact finishes

Webb dominated as a consistent, composed scorer who plays comfortably within himself and the flow of the offense, repeatedly getting to his preferred spots in the mid-range, rising into stop-and-pop jumpers that were difficult to contest because of his combination of elevation, balance, and subtle body control. Webb’s pull-up game along the lane was particularly effective, with the right elbow serving as a money spot where he proved to be very comfortable. His three-point opportunities came naturally through spacing, intelligent rotations, and timely off-ball movement rather than forcing shots.

Christopher was one of the best players I saw at the showcase. He never seems to make a bad decision and he’s constantly impacting the game in significant ways on both ends of the floor. His jumper is silky smooth, and he gets into a crazy rhythm multiple times per game. He’s patient with how he lets plays develop before rushing to decisions and his IQ is absolutely through the roof for his age. He’s automatic on the glass, consistently involved, and displays a shooting range that extends well beyond the arc.
