Taylor was a difference maker on both ends of the floor for the Eagles. His defensive intensity helped to set the tone early in this one. Taylor was able to use his quick feet combined with physicality in his defensive positioning to help keep ball handlers out of the paint. Offensively, he finished with seven points against the Cardinals. After a Scyrkels free throw that gave Collinsville a two point lead, the Eagles threw the ball in and got a solid look just inside the half court line, but the shot from Xavier Williams hit front rim.
