Caldwell impressed at both ends of the floor for Redline’s 16u team last weekend. The 6’6 forward has great length, high level athleticism and a motor that never stops. He is relentless on the glass and can straight line drive the ball and finish above the rim. At the defensive end, he uses his mobility and strength to guard in the post, keep perimeter players in front of him and be switchable onto almost position. Caldwell is a 2028 prospect with big potential.
Caldwell plays extremely hard and consistently impacts games with his athleticism and motor. The raw forward attacks rebounds aggressively and changes shots around the rim with his activity and length. His effort level alone helps mask areas of his game still developing offensively.
While the offensive skillset remains a work in progress, Christian continues showing encouraging flashes. He flashes improved footwork while gaining confidence operating around the basket.
Raw athlete plays extremely hard. Attacks rebounds and changes shots around the rim. Needs to refine his offensive game but shows promise as he has developed a step-thru move and is starting to implement a turnaround jumper. His effort can mask any deficiencies in his game.
Caldwell is a high-motor forward who makes his presence felt with relentless energy. He plays above the rim with athletic bounce, consistently crashing the glass on both ends and finishing strong in transition. His timing as a weak-side shot blocker allows him to protect the rim effectively despite not being the tallest player on the floor. Caldwell’s constant activity level and physical tools make him the type of player who can produce double-doubles through sheer effort, with the potential to grow into a consistent impact piece at the next level.
A high-motor forward with athletic bounce, Caldwell plays with consistent energy. He crashes the glass hard, runs the floor in transition, and protects the rim well for his size. With his physical tools and activity level, he projects as a future double-double contributor.
Caldwell protects the rim well. Against the bigger Centennial Knights, Christian chipped in 1 point, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 4 blocks. He’s a competitor in the paint and looks like a future double-double guy as he gets stronger and gets more reps under his belt.
