Dowling, a forward out of Pentucket Regional High School in Massachusetts, is ranked #12 among the centers and checks in at #97 overall in this update. The 6’6″ center is another prospect that has made a name for himself on the football field, while also showing off some budding skill on the basketball court. He has long arms and good instincts on the defensive end of the floor, allowing him to not only be a switchable defender, but also a quality rim protector. Offensively, he attacks the offensive glass and is even comfortable attacking closeouts off the bounce from the perimeter. He plays his travel ball with the New England Storm and will head to Governor’s Academy in the fall where he’ll join the Class of 2029.

Dowling, a high evel performer on the football field, has continued to impress with his abilities on the defensive end of the floor. With long arms and quickness off the floor, he does a good job of protecting the rim, both as an on-ball defender and when coming from the help side. Offensively, he utilizes a high motor to run the floor hard in transition and also shows a big of breakdown ability off the bounce against slower-footed defenders in space.

Dowling, a big out of Pentucket Regional High School in Massachusetts, checks in at #105 overall and #11 among the centers. Dowling is a versatile, 6’5″ big that has long arms and does a nice job of quickly covering space on the defensive end of the floor. He’s a plus shot blocker that has great recovery instincts and does a nice job of rebounding with a high motor. Offensively, he cleans up on put backs, does a nice job of hard rolling out of screens, and even shows the ability to face up on the perimeter and attack slower footed defenders off the bounce.
