Williams made an impact by doing the little things for KUA in their game against NMH. The 6-foot-6 senior plays really good defense and attacks both the offensive and defensive glasses with aggression and toughness. He can finish in the paint and is able to put the ball on the floor and create a bit for himself and his teammates. He hasn’t developed much of an outside game yet, but I could envision his shot coming along with how his free throws look. Either way, his coaches at Bates will love his defensive versatility, toughness and passion next year.

Williams decided to end his recruitment when he committed to Bates College. A big lefty on the wing, Williams is an impressive athlete that can really get out and run in transition. In the half-court, he’s proven to be a high IQ cutter that can finish with authority above the rim, while also proving capable of making plays off the bounce from the perimeter. He plays hard, on every possession, and has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. His athleticism, competitiveness, and motor stand out every time he takes the floor. Defensively, he’s capable of guarding one through five with his combination of athleticism, quickness, strength, and intelligence. Bates gets a quality early commit in Williams, the type of big, versatile combo forward that teams traditionally need to be successful in the NESCAC.
