Wilson is a balanced guard who can do a little bit of everything with his play. He is a natural as a facilitator but shows he can score the basketball when he needs to. His ability to be crafty when picking and choosing which spots he is going to attack is one of his best skills as a player. Wilson has a knack for hitting timely shots in the flow of the game. His athleticism doesn’t blow you away but can show small flashes of it.

Carter was our preseason #1 player in Suffolk and he has lived up to our expectations. Averaging 18 ppg. On this night he had 22 and 12 assists. This is a typical night for him. He has the ability to take over games but also realizes it’s a team game and his job is to get his teammates involved. Lightning quick with the ball. Really good with changing direction and pace. Outstanding handle.

With his tremendous ability to score the ball what impresses me most is his awareness and vision plus unselfishness to make the right play at the right time. A creator and distributor of the ball. Crafty scorer in the lane. Not afraid to sacrifice his body to get a loose ball on the floor. In transition or half court his head is always up seeing the floor looking to make a play.

Bayshore is continuing their undefeated season with a victory over North Babylon. A balanced attack each night could be led by any one of 4 players. Carter is a constant though in making a difference in the game if he is scoring or not. Against NB he connected on 5 threes with his quickness he is hard to contain so he is able to draw fouls and add points from the line. This night he poured in 27 points. He is a playmaker, but also a tremendous facilitator of the ball, Outstanding going downhill N-S but also understands the importance of changing speeds and direction. Excellent court vision and a willing passer.

Look out for Carter this coming season he might be the POY in the Ling Island Catholic school league. He is a dynamic talent. Extremely fast but is able to stay in control. Outstanding shooter from deep with the ability to blow by his defender. Excellent passer can change direction and speed in a flash.
