A 6’1 guard for Topeka Hayden, Carter scored 16 points a game last year shooting 84 percent from the foul line. Compton played for SSA Elite White and was described by PH Kansas as “a versatile offensive weapon with excellent court vision, reliable decision-making, and strong ball-handling skills.” A second team honored player in the Centennial last season.

Carter is a versatile offensive threat who thrives in multiple scoring situations. He has the strength and balance to finish through contact, absorbing bumps without losing control, and the composure to play at his own pace, never rushed by defenders. His game is equally dangerous inside and out—able to attack the rim with power and touch, or step outside to knock down shots with confidence. This combination of physicality, poise, and skill makes him a constant challenge for opponents to contain.
