About Carson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a pass first guard, I look for the hot hand, and I mostly try to find the mismatch usually i’ll come set a screen on a big man if they are switching everything or have to. I look up for passes in transition and I like playing aggressive defense. I like keeping the energy up a lot. If I have a wide open 3 and a open lane i’ll take the open lane any day.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m locked in at the last second before the game starts and I like to let players shoot and drive on me to see what they’re good at. I’m an upbeat kid and I will get every kid on my team hyped up. I’m usually the one bringing the speaker to practice. I don’t complain about how much or how less of playing time I get because that’s just not me. I need to earn it if I want playing time. I stay humble

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

We have this program in our school. Our breakdown is, “Win on me win on 3, 1, 2, 3, win, win, win.” So Win in the classroom, win in the community, and win on the court. I play aau for Hustle906 located in Escanaba, Michigan. I also play school ball for Kingsford, Michigan.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a huge leader in 3 things. In the classroom, in the community, and on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family broke apart October 23rd, 2022 or 2021 I can’t remember but that has been a HUGE impact on my life.

What type of college are you looking for?

Michigan State, Bay College, or any other college that offers me a scholarship or I can succeed in.
