Carson battled injuries throughout his high school career but he ended up as one of the top guards to come through Pulaski County over the past decade or so. Fraley is a strong and physical guard who excels at getting to the rim and finishing, often through contact.
Unfortunately, Carson has had one of the most injury plagued careers of anyone in this 2026 class. Coming out of middle school, Fraley had won MVP of the 8th grade state tournament and looked ready for a big high school career. When he’s been able to be on the court, Carson has been really good. Hopefully he can get a healthy Senior year.
Back from injury, Carson is starting to get back to his old ways and that means trouble for the rest of the 12th region. Putting up 15 points per game is enough to lead the Maroons but more importantly, Fraley is a downhill driver who creates open looks for teammates. Assuming he stays healthy, Carson should be a top 5 or so player in the region this year.
Carson was limited to 14 games as a Sophomore and didn’t suit up for any AAU this spring/summer as far as I know. If he’s back on the court and 100%, Pulaski can go to another level with his playmaking and toughness. Fraley has long been able to bully opposing guards and get to the rim. If he’s back and 100%, don’t expect that to change.
Fraley missed half of the season but is back now and making an impact for the Maroons. Carson reminds me of Isaiah Briscoe with the way he can bully guards to the rim and will knock down shots when left open.
Carson has missed most of the season until getting back on the court for the last two Pulaski games. As he gets back up to 100% and back to his old self, it will be interesting to see how high he can lift Pulaski County in the race for the 12th region title.
Fraley is not a glamorous player. He plays bully ball and beats up smaller guards on his way to big time scoring and creating opportunities for teammates. But winning is very glamorous and Carson is a flat out winner. Always making winning plays for his team.
Carson is the most physical player on this list and is capable of bullying anyone on his way to the rim. Fraley is strong and capable of getting downhill and finishing at the rim or kicking to open teammates for clean looks. He’s also a good three point shooter who is going to be a top player in the 12th region the next few years.
Fraley was ultra aggressive offensively against Mercer County which is great news for their post season future as he dropped in 27 points. He let his defense fuel his offense getting out in passing lanes and playing a ton in transition. Made a 3 off the catch, but was at his best at the rim. Huge game for him.
One freshman who has absolutely no problem dealing with physicality already, Carson is capable of bullying opposing guards and finishing at the rim. Fraley is a good enough shooter to keep defenses honest but his bread and butter is putting his head down and getting into the paint. Carson has Pulaski off to an awesome start and looking like the favorite to win the 12th region.
