One of the breakout performers from the Midwest Cincinnati Fall League, Metz was one of the most consistent guards in the entire league. Despite being undersized, Metz is tough to keep in front of and is creative with how he goes up in the paint against taller rim protectors. Don’t let that skill confuse you, Metz wants to make shots on the perimeter. Metz got some varsity experience for the state runner up Aiken last season and should bring that winning edge to a North College Hill squad that has a lot of new faces that should provide a lot of excitement around the program.

Second straight week we’re highlighting Metz as a standout performer as he was dominant once again. His quickness really stands out in this league as he’s a blur in the open court. Combine that with his impressive perimeter shot-making ability and you have a tough lead guard to contain.

Metz was making a two way impact by pressuring the basketball from the point of attack and either causing turnovers or forcing the opposing guard to pick up their dribble. Offensively, Metz knocked down a handful of 3-pointers, mostly from the corner. In the pick and roll, Metz beat drop coverage with a running lefty layup. Talented lead guard who could break out this winter at North College Hill after getting some time at Cincinnati Aiken last season.
