Perkins stepped on the gas in the second half, dumping in 17 of his game-high 21 points including 10 points in the fourth quarter. The lefty controls the flow of the game well and is able to beat pressure with a compact handle. Perkins thrived at getting to the rim when the game was on the line, hitting tough floaters with defenders draped all over him. He opened his night with two pull-up jumpers but battled foul issues in the first half. Cam has long been one of the best guards in Middle Georgia and one of the better playmakers the 2024 class has to offer.

Perkins is a savvy high-IQ veteran point guard that has seen heavy minutes since his freshman season. He’s a pass-first creator that breaks down defenders in order to set up easy baskets. Each season he has gotten more aggressive hunting his own points. He’s got good body control on drives and can light it up from beyond the arc.

No. 3 – From Day 1, Cam Perkins was a difference maker with the ball in his hands. He’s a savvy high IQ guard that creates with the best of them. Perkins has a great knowledge of how to attack defenses, sucking them in before kicking out to shooters. Cam has nice wiggle downhill and sneaky explosiveness when finishing at the rim.
