Murphy did a little bit of everything for Demi Rayn’s 13U squad which played up in the 14U division at the Derby City Duel. Lack of personnel at times meant that Murphy had to fulfill a lot of point guard duties and his production while doing so was impressive. Facilitating the offense meant that he couldn’t score as much as usual but his ability to set his teammates up for success proved to be more valuable down the stretch. He also showcased advanced defensive instincts. He consistent effort in jumping passing lanes created a lot of fast break opportunities over the weekend.
