Beck is a fun player to watch because he’s so fundamentally solid. He uses ball fakes to get defenders off balance and then squares up nicely to the basket for mid-range and three-point jump shots. He is smart with the ball in his hands, communicates well on defense and is a true team leader for Port Edwards. Surpassing the 1,000-point mark for his career with a three early in the game, Beck finished with five triples and went 11 of 14 from the line, making 10 in a row at one point, on the way to scoring his 30 points.
