About Brycen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a player who is able to see the whole court and where my players are positioned. I love to make a great pass and/or assist to help my players score. I’m not a selfish player, but I am also not afraid to shoot the 3 or drive into the lane for a quick bucket. I’m a player who makes things happen on the court offensively.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have always gotten along well with my peers and classmates. I have a lot of friends, but I have a smaller group of very close friends. I have always been liked by my teachers and coaches. During games I’m not one to buckle under pressure.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Football Baseball FFA Youth Group Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been a team player on and off the court. I like to think that I take on the leadership role of our team while on the court as I believe that is the point guard’s job.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The weekend before my seventh grade basketball season I broke my foot playing basketball at the YMCA. I was only able to play the last few games of the season. It crushed me as I was so excited to play with my classmates on our school team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a college who offers the classes that I need for my major (currently undecided), has a good reputation and has a basketball program where I am able to get as much playing time as possible.
