About Brewer

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to drive to the hoop and I draw a lot of fouls. I only shoot threes when I’m wide open. I like to take the ball up as a point guard when I can get the chance but I should most likely not be super trusted to do so in high intensity situations. Overall I’ll just play how the coach tells me too and try my hardest.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I follow what the coach tells me to do. I want to win at all costs even if it means playing just a tiny bit dirty. I’m a cross country standout so I have a ton of speed and stamina, so I like to stay in the game for as long as possible and give every ounce of energy I have.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Im planning to do key club in HS which is community service.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This is my first year of AAU and I’ve learned the quality teamwork and how it is the focal point of winning.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have never been the greatest leader so improving on that is kind of a challenge. Another challenge that I’ve faced is having so many sports and it being a lot to handle having school basketball, AAU basketball, track, cross country, and baseball. But I don’t use it as an excuse and try my hardest in everything either way.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would be happy to play anywhere from a high division 2 school to a low division 1 school. Obviously the goal is a good division 1 school but I’ll take any opportunity that I get. I also want to go somewhere that will make my family proud, such as Wisconsin, this isn’t a requirement, just something that would be cool.
