Expert Analysis
Spencer Christenson | Prep Hoops Scout
Phillips has been the Alpha for Aberdeen Central in his Senior season. We predicted a breakout season for him and he certainly made us look good for that. He was the clear go-to guy on the wing with his long 6’5” frame, ability to attack the rim, and his ability to get off his three and knock them down. Uses his length to defend on the perimeter, making opportune plays on the ball. I think he projects really nicely to the next level and has a bunch of upside going forward. He’s ranked #18 overall and I think we could have possibly went higher with him.

Phillips is the alpha for Aberdeen Central and is getting some great usage, and he’s taking advantage of it. He’s scoring night in and night out, most recently a 27-point game in Aberdeen Central’s win over Watertown. He’s also hitting the boards hard and playing D with length and movement. Though Aberdeen Central isn’t having the success they want, I think Philips is having an All-State caliber season.

Phillips is another long wing that can space the floor. He takes off and has a standout Senior season. Showing some promise as a long defender. I think he earns some accolades as the season concludes.

I think Phillips takes a step forward as a varsity player for Aberdeen Central. He’s on the up and up as a long wing that can play and hit a perimeter shot. Uses length at the rim to finish offensive opportunities and challenge for boards. Can push in transition but needs some refining on his handle some. His 6’5” size, with a skilled off-ball game make for his ranking.

Phillips is an easy choice for a breakout. He was ascending late in the year and expect that to continue. The long wing for Aberdeen Central could put in 15+ ppg. and be the go-to guy.

The Golden Eagles took down #4 Watertown by a score of 64-62. Phillips drained a last second triple to win the game. Talk about a clutch performer!

Great length and highly versatile. 6’5 and can run and get up and down the court. College programs should be watching this kid. High motor.
