About Braylon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is aggressive and versatile—I’m a long, athletic forward/wing who attacks the rim and finishes with power, using reliable low-post scoring (especially hook shots). On defense, I’m a high-upside athlete who can guard multiple positions and bring energy on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hardworking, team-first player who stays focused on doing my job on the court, no matter the role. I put in the work, stay engaged, and give consistent effort to help the team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong teamwork and communication, always focused on playing my role and supporting my teammates on both ends. I also bring a hardworking, positive mindset that helps stay loced in during games and practices, and I try to contribute to the community by staying involved and being a good representative for my school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. I faced a lot of adversity early on—especially not getting many minutes my sophomore year on varsity, and then not finishing my junior year. It was tough, but I used those setbacks as motivation to work harder, stay ready, and come back with a stronger mindset and greater effort.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m preferably looking for an in-state (NC) 4-year college with a well-developed basketball program.

Curry rounds out the rising senior prospects on the rise from the Phenom Queen City Showcase. When you sit down to watch HYAA Elite, Braylon’s length is one of the first things that jumps out at you. He contests shots and deflects passes at a high rate with those physical tools, so once he fills out, he could be a true defensive weapon. He lives in the paint on the offensive end because of his athleticism and touch, so there are tons of reasons why scouts were all over Curry this weekend.
