About Braxton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play aggressive defense mixed with more of a shooters play style but am good at taking the ball to the rim and still always finding somewhere to shoot or set up my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a good community and with their support I have a strong love for the game and with that comes the reason I have a hardworking mentality and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get better and win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of many clubs at my school such as basketball, baseball, bowling, golf, track, FCA, and FBLA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork has became kind of easy for me as I have always been a people person. Leadership has also became a quality as I have had to take over when out basketball coach, that has coached me and my teammates our whole careers, left us and went to our rival school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I have had to face is when the coach that has coached me since the 7th grade left my junior year and we had to bring in a new coach who actually came out of retirement to coach us. It was very difficult at first as he had a coaching style we weren’t used to at all but eventually we all got the hang of it and ended up going to regionals and state that year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I have a few colleges picked out because I am wanting to get my degree in sports management and have a few of those colleges picked out. Those colleges being University Of Arkansas, University Of Central Arkansas, Arkansas State, or Harding University.
