A conference rival of Foster’s, Cox is a productive scoring guard who has scored 17 or more points in each of his first four games this season. Cox has taken a big step as a shooter this season. After making just 14 3-pointers as a Junior, Cox already has eight 3-pointers in four games to open up his senior season. This improved shooting could make him a stock riser as his ability to get to the bucket is already tough to stop.

One of the stronger guards in the league, Cox has a nice frame and the ability to not move off his spots when dribbling the basketball. A tough shot maker, a hand in Cox face doesn’t matter when he pulls up. I saw Cox make a handful of shots with a defender in his face on Sunday. After leading Cincinnati Christian at 13.9 PPG as a Junior, expect Cox to be one of the top scorers in the Miami Valley Conference this winter.

Cincy Fire caught fire in the second half, the turn a massive deficit down to just three points with a couple minutes to play before falling to Grand Park Premier White 16 U. Cox and Victor Johnson Victor Johnson 5'9" | PG Roger Bacon | 2025 OH were the two main reasons for this second half resurgence with Cox making some impressive shots from the outside and scoring the ball in transition. Johnson on the other hand made his defensive presence known with a couple steals and fast break layups. Cox was tough to stay in front of and his and-1 finish through contact was the most impressive bucket for his team during their big run.
