The spring 2025 grassroots circuit will go down as Berwick’s breakout stretch of play. Once again at the Philly Spring Clash, Berwick proved that he could fill it up in a multitude of ways. On Saturday, Berwick presented serious match-up issues for opponents. When defended by smaller guards, Berwick shot threes over them with ease. He also destroyed those matchups via physical baseline drives as well as by crashing the offensive glass. If a “big’ attempted to guard Berwick, he attacked that mismatch off the dribble for lay-ins. Berwick displayed the ability to initiate those rim attacks from the arc as well as the elbows. He also flashed a mid-range jumper.

Berwick is a small forward prospect who this weekend showed he can produce points in a multitude of ways. Berwick laced spot up threes from all around the arc. With his length, he had no problem shooting over defenders. Additionally, Berwick scored via post ups as well as the offensive glass. He also caught opponents by surprise with his effective one or two dribble attacks on the cup from the elbows and along the baseline. Once he got to the rim, Berwick showed he could finish with either hand. On defense, Berwick rejected several shots.
