Bol has enjoyed a productive summer, garnering traction among college coaches. Deng plays with great effort on defense. With quality size and sneaky explosive athleticism, he is able to fly around for steals and blocks. Bol plays above the rim on drives and has developed a reliable three-point shot. His best basketball may still be ahead of him, but Bol is trending into a consistent two-way difference maker.

Bol took a massive step forward his sophomore season, averaging 10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game. At 6-foot-2, Deng has nice size on the perimeter. Bol can play both on and off the ball. He’s a very good rebounder and a skillful slasher with eurosteps. Continuing to gain confidence in his three-point shot will really help his growth. His shot has a high, patient release. He netted 26 threes at a 30% rate this past season.
