About Blake

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

How I would describe my gameplay style is im a 5’3 combo guard who plays with a high motor and strong defensive focus. I take pride in locking up my matchup, applying pressure, and creating turnovers. Offensively, I have a solid jumper and can space the floor, knock down open shots, and make smart decisions with the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hard worker with a team-first mindset. I stay coachable, play with confidence, and bring energy every time I step on the court. I take defense seriously, compete on every possession, and always look for ways to improve my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of AAU Basketball I am involved in a Squash Program Named “ Racquet Up Detroit. “ I’ve had the honor of going to SEA Team Nationals 2x, 2025 & 2026.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by communicating on defense, encouraging my teammates, and leading by example with effort and energy. I take pride in being reliable and doing the little things that help the team win, like hustling, playing tough defense, and staying disciplined. I’m coachable, respectful, and always looking to improve both on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Significant Challenges I have faced are keeping my confidence & composure up after I make a bad decision & Injuries.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college I am looking for is a college that is great both academic wise & sport wise, mostly academic though. And A College that will get me ready to exceed to the next level.
