About Bizzy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as a true floor general a smart, athletic point guard who controls the pace, gets teammates involved, and competes hard on both ends. I love attacking the basket, creating opportunities for others, and setting the tone on defense with energy and toughness.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is all about competing, leading, and getting better every day. I take pride in being a tough, unselfish teammate who does whatever it takes to win. I stay composed under pressure, listen to my coaches, and always look to make the right play. I’m confident but coachable, and I approach the game with energy, focus, and humility.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am part of the African Student Union at Good Cousel I have won several academic scholarships and awards at Good Counsel.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through basketball. As a point guard, I’ve learned how to communicate, keep my teammates involved, and stay composed in tough moments. I take pride in leading by example playing hard, encouraging others, and putting the team first. Off the court, I try to bring the same mindset by helping out my younger brothers and be positive in my community

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. In 7th grade, I was cut from every AAU team I tried out for. Instead of quitting, I worked hard all summer and made a team the next year as a bench player. Through consistency and effort, I earned a starting spot and was later recruited by Good Counsel and Team Takeover. That experience taught me that hard work and perseverance always pay off.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and on the basketball court, a place where I can grow as a student, athlete, and person. I want a program that values hard work, teamwork, and discipline, and where I can contribute to a winning culture while earning a strong education.

As the weekend progressed, Arungwa kept demanding my attention with how hard he played on both ends of the floor. He’s a physical, tough-nosed guard who can play on or off the ball and contributed in the scoring column as he made his mark from all three levels. TTO Showcase finished the weekend 2-1 with a loss to DC Assault in the semifinal, but the 6-foot-1 sophomore showed why he’ll be ready for the varsity level as a junior . His best outing game in a 15-point performance against RockIt MHC on Saturday where he buried three’s and finished through contact around the cup. He’s a prideful defender who can make life hard for his man as he meets them at half court on every possession.
