Ozuna did a little bit of everything for his Heavenly Hoopers squad this past weekend. He is a tremendous 2-way player who affects the game in a number of ways both offensively and defensively. He is an excellent defender, and also shows great scoring capabilities on the offensive end.

Ozuna had a standout performance, erupting for 29 points in a big win. He showed maturity throughout, balancing scoring with playmaking and making the right reads when defenses reacted. Ozuna has a natural scorer’s mindset, attacking his spots with confidence and getting to the rim at a high level. Around the basket, he finishes with control and a variety of polished moves. He plays with poise and understands when to take over and when to involve others. He will be even more effective as a floor spacer, as he showed the ability to knock down shots from deep and proved to be one of the top shooters in the gym. As he continues to develop, he projects as a player who can give defenses real problems early in his high school career.

Ozuna is a long, athletic guard with strong positional size and a natural feel for scoring. He consistently gets downhill and puts pressure on the rim, finishing in a variety of ways through contact or around defenders. In the midrange, he has a smooth pull-up jumper that he can get off quickly and confidently. His ability to create his own shot makes him a true scoring threat at all three levels. He plays with confidence and pace, rarely looking sped up when attacking. Overall, he projects as a dynamic offensive guard who can generate points in multiple ways.
