He’s been playing good basketball for a while now. The guard from Sacramento might be working a bit under the radar. He performs well when the game is on the line. Strong drives to the bucket, in traffic handling the bumps. He has a consistent pull-up jumper in, and around the paint. He as the ability to settle, and run the offense up top. His numbers should go up this season. 58 to 40.

Sandy is a shifty and strong combo guard that can create his own offense or come off the ball for catch and shoot opportunities. Sandy has a strong handle on the ball, uses the crossover, the hesitation, and the behind cross to get his defender off balance, is accurate with the jumper from the mid-range to the 3-point line off the bounce, keeps the dribble low to get into the paint with touch on the floater down the lane, and has good body control with the spin-fadeaway jumper. Sandy runs the floor well in the open court to get ahead of the defense for the transition bucket, is a creative finisher around the basket with the use of the reverse lay-up, and is a tough on-ball perimeter defender.

He’s been a solid and consistent point guard from the Sacramento Area for a while. He’s a quality ball handler, doesn’t get sped up, he handles ball pressure, traps, he sees the whole court to make the pass up court. He settles the offense, makes good use of his body driving into the paint. He’ll finish with floaters, paint jumpers, or high off the glass over defenders.

A slick handling point guard that plays with confidence. He’s got quickness, and a burst. He has a good pull-up off the dribble to hit mid-range jumpers, he’ll get into the paint and finish with jumpers, and strong takes handling contact. He’s an exceptional passer with vision to find shooters on the drive and kick, and in transition with the long pass up.
