Ben is a quick guard who has an excellent first step when attacking the rim. If defenders are on their heels, Ben will blow by with ease and get the bucket at the rim. He finishes through contact nicely too, being able to adjust and have a soft touch for the finish. His eyes are up when he has the ball, always seeing his open teammates and setting them up for easy buckets.

Berg is a guard who brings a ton of skill to the floor and continues to improve his situational awareness. He can defend both guard spots, and at times, that defensive ability is the anchor to his game. Also shoots the spot-up three at a good clip, and although he’s just 6-foot, he can challenge guys at the rim vertically. A guard to keep an eye on who has the hunger to succeed.

Berg is a kid who lives in the gym and has really developed into a reliable threat from 3-point range. He has the tools to be a big factor for White River this winter, whether it is helping to run the point, being a tenacious on-ball defender, or using his underrated athleticism at the rim. He’s a kid who has put in the work and should have a good winter to show for it.
