Hutchins was arguably the top outside shooter at the state tournament. The 6-foot-4 junior used his size and soft touch to shoot over defenders, either from the catch-and-shoot or coming off of screens, and he was able to create space for himself with a few dribbles as well. He averaged 15.3 points on sizzling .552 field goal shooting, hitting a tournament-high 11 threes with 50 percent accuracy. Hutchins wasn’t just scoring the ball either as he utilized his length on defense, leading the tournament in blocks averaging 2.0 per game.
